This afternoon I headed up toward Graham, TX where a few very slow moving cells were forming. North of Graham I encountered large hail. One stone picked up just outside the city limits measured nearly 3 inches.
As the cell west of Graham began showing signs of rotation on radar I headed southwest to intercept.
Just west of the town of Eliasville a tornado formed.
I felt that I might be in the path as the tornado progressed so I relocated east of town and watched the tornado rope out. I headed further east then south to watch for reformation but the storm had weakened. I did find out later that the tornado actually hit one house near town but thankfully no one was injured.
