A front approaching the north Texas area on Wednesday 03/24/2010
provided a possibility of severe weather and an early spring chase day.
I was accompanied by Karla Dorman of Burleson,TX on her very first chase.

We initially headed north up 199 to Azle, TX
where we stopped for lunch and and re-checked our data.
The area to our south and west appeared to show a little more promise
than the area we were in so we headed south to Weatherford,TX

We continued west from Weatherford on I-20 and stopped for gas near Santo,TX.
While there we had a chance to meet another chaser, Ben McMillan.
As the storms lined out just to our west we shot a few pics and video.

We repositioned east from there several times
to keep an eye on a few suspicious lowered areas.

Keeping up with the storms we continued east on I-20.
We then headed south to Aledo,TX and east toward Burleson.TX on FM 1187.
We were able to capture a few more pics and video.

The following video segment was taken by Karla D. toward the end of the chase.

Total mileage for this days chase is 255.
